Jeremy Weintraub
Jeremy Weintraub is an experienced litigator. He has
experience in prosecuting and defending complex commercial
cases on behalf of both individuals and businesses in
a wide range of matters, including disputes involving
accounting malpractice, breach of contract, breach of
fiduciary duty, employment agreements, ERISA, fraud,
insurance coverage, real estate, RICO, securities, and
trademark.
Mr. Weintraub has litigated disputes in state and federal
courts across the country, including Delaware, Georgia,
Illinois, Indiana, New York, New Jersey, Missouri, and
Wisconsin. In addition, he has represented claimants
and respondents in AAA, NASD, and NYSE arbitrations.
Mr. Weintraub earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics
from Yale University in 1993 and a law degree from New
York University in 1998, where he won first place honors
in the Trial Lawyers Association Oral Advocacy
Tournament. After graduating college but before attending
law school, Mr. Weintraub worked for two years in the
Economics Department of the Consulate General of Japan
in New York City.
Mr. Weintraub is a member of the Association of the
Bar of the City of New York and the Federal Bar Council.
His pro bono activities have included representing a
battered spouse in connection with divorce proceedings
and an individual in connection with the September 11
Victims Compensation Fund.
